Description
1. Overview of Direct Acting Solenoid Valve
Direct acting solenoid valves operate by utilizing electromagnetic force to lift the closing part from the valve seat when energized, allowing the valve to open. When power is cut, the spring restores the closing part to the valve seat, closing the valve.
Features:
- Operates under vacuum, negative pressure, and zero pressure.
- No pressure difference required for operation.
- Relies on coil suction for switching action.

3. Working Principle of Direct Acting Solenoid Valve
- Normally Closed:
- Valve opens when the coil is energized.
- Valve closes when the coil is de-energized.
- Normally Open:
- Valve closes when the coil is energized.
- Valve opens when the coil is de-energized.
