Description
1. Overview of Pilot Solenoid Valve
The pilot solenoid valve is suitable for applications with pressure differences between the front and rear of the valve, particularly for large diameters.
The pilot solenoid valve operates as follows: When energized, electromagnetic force lifts the valve stem, opening the pilot port. This relieves pressure in the upper chamber through the pilot hole, creating a high-low pressure difference around the main valve core. Under this pressure, the fluid pushes the main valve core upward to open the main valve port. When de-energized, the valve stem resets under spring force and the weight of the main valve core, increasing pressure in the upper chamber. The fluid pressure then pushes the main valve core downward, closing the main valve port.
